My senior year in college was so crazy. I felt as though anything and everything that could happen, ended up happening. I dealt with a good amount of bad stuff that I’m still trying to move on from. However, that’s not what I want to focus on now. I want to look at all the great things I accomplished my senior year. After all, college is the best years of your life.
I interned during my first semester with one of the big three music labels in the United States. I was offered another internship at another record label. However, I was not able to take it because of my class schedule.
On campus, I was the president of an amazing club. This club has a special place in my heart because it was the main reason I decided to stay at Iona. As a result, we brought the first ever 24-hour game-a-thon to campus. Our initial goal was to raise $300 for Child’s Play. However, at the end of the event, we ended up raising over $1,000.
I was super involved on campus and loved every minute of it. Now looking back, I wish I didn’t graduate and become an “adult.” I feel like I still have a lot more to experience and learn if I was still an undergrad.
