About

Hello, I’m Arlene Vivar.

I’m a full-time student at Iona College, studying Public Relations and minoring in music. According to my school, I’m set to graduate May 2017 but let’s see if that happens. I’m super involved on campus by having my own radio show with WICR, being part of ICTV, being an Undergrad Peer Advisor for the Office of Student Development, sitting on the Arts Council Committee and being President of the Admirers Of Illustrated Literature.

I was born and raised in the Bronx and currently still live there. I am Executive Director of Taking Back Queens and Program Director of Rock UR Heart Out under Windows of Opportunity, Inc. If you want to know more about my music ventures please visit the TBQ Blog or Facebook. Along with my passion for music, I also love photography. Mainly taking pictures at shows. You can see some of my work on my Instagram.
